We are students from Phillips Exeter Academy who first met not in the classroom, but on the lacrosse field—where teamwork, discipline, and shared ambition forged a bond that now extends far beyond the game. What began as a friendship on the turf has evolved into a mission: to use our skills, education, and values to make a meaningful impact on the world.

Together, we launched 43 North Investments—a student-run investing collective inspired by the Exeterian principle of Non Sibi—“not for oneself.” While we operate informally and without institutional registration, we are actively trading with a modest pool of real capital. Our decisions are made democratically, grounded in rigorous research, open discussion, and a shared commitment to long-term thinking.

This isn’t a simulation. We’re putting our ideas—and our convictions—to the test.

We view finance not just as a career path, but as a powerful vehicle for doing good. Through 43 North, we’re building applied experience in equity research, risk analysis, portfolio management, and ethical decision-making—all while staying anchored to the values that brought us together: integrity, intellectual curiosity, and service to others.
